Things to consider when planning your event
- How many people are you expecting?
- Who is your audience? What type of musical styles do you need?
- Do you want the DJ to MC as well as play music?
- Is the event inside or outside? If outside, you may need a tent and a hard floor to protect the DJ against the elements.
- Do you want the DJ to take requests or stick to a specific playlist?
Things you should ask when selecting a DJ
- What type of music does the DJ specialize in?
- Does the DJ rent or own his equipment?
- Does the DJ provide a contract? **ALWAYS** request a contract!
- What type of events have the DJ performed in the past?
- Does the quote include travel and setup?
